Beatrice Eriksson

About

A well known artist on the Scandinavian music scene, Beatrice brings her unique blend of folk, rock, country, and Scandinavian influence to the RedJet Records arsenal. Beatrice is now gaining overwhelming popularity in the United States market: hosting radio shows, making special appearances, and concert dates including the legendary Hard Rock Casino.

Beatrice began singing when she was a little girl. Her mother used to sit and play the piano, and Beatrice would stand next to it and sing along. When she was only seven, she wrote her first song together with her sister Veronica. The song was called "It's a radio, oh oh".

When she was a little older, Beatrice joined the church youth choir, and it wasn't long before she realized that this was something she was meant to do. Her passion for country music was born after she was given the opportunity to sing the Dolly Parton song "High and mighty". Since then Beatrice has sung in many different bands.

Through the years Beatrice has been singing and dancing in variety shows, for example “Christmas at Hilton”, “The blue moon bar show” and “The wild west show”, and countless others. The last-mentioned became a huge success and is running on its fourth year.

Between 2000 and 2002 she studied at the Stockholm music conservatory. During this time she got really inspired to write her own material. She also started a band and began singing her own songs. She teamed up with skilled songwriters and producers and started recording a lot. Now Beatrice doesn’t just write for her own band, but for other artists as well.

For many years she has worked as a demo and back-up singer with some of Sweden’s top-ranking artists. Beatrice has also been the opening act for such artists as Carola. Since then Beatrice has expanded her career across the Atlantic.

Not only does Beatrice give a dynamite concert, her CD captures the same energy and passion as her concerts. Purchase Beatrice's new album now by visiting the RedJet Records Sound Store.
